Yesterday my mom (whose grandma name is DeDe) came to town and of course we went out to eat at a fabulous restaurant and then went shopping. Shocker!
She has been coming almost every Friday since Daphne was born. Initially the plan was for her to come on Fridays to help me with the baby. Daphne ended up being an easy baby, so instead we drag her all around town and do whatever sounds fun to us. I can't wait until Daphne is old enough to appreciate how much fun we are!
Yesterday our adventure included meeting some friends for lunch at The Grove and then shopping for Daphne. We found some adorable things and everything was even on sale. Score!! Here are a few pics of Daphne wearing some of the sugary-sweet girliness we bought for her. The "Angel" onesie is from Ann Messer and the tutu is from DeDe.

And I have to give The Grove a shout-out for the amazing chocolate bread pudding with whipped cream and strawberries. I am so glad nursing burns extra calories!
